There’s nothing quite like a dollop of good ol’ fashioned Victoriana to get my eyes twinkling – and this wonderful little Etsy shop certainly does the trick for me. Let me introduce you to Mamas Little Babies – Santa Cruz based jewellery designer whose work is inspired by Victorian era images, particularly animals, gardening and textiles. If you are after something a little bit unusual to adorn your lapel/neck/ears/bag, then look no further.

The Polly brooch (above) really caught my eye – it’s a great price too at £12.99 as did the Soiree necklace (top image) – a very respectable £18.83 – but my favourite has to be the Victorian scissors brooch – just the right side of quirky and a snip (!) at £12.99.
