Look what I found! This amazing bunting is created by the very talented Claire Ong – check out her Etsy shop. She crafts under the name of Baloolah Bunting and I adore her take on the traditional – making it really modern and beautifully crafted – great for those that prefer a contemporary design to the tried and tested shabby chic. Perfect for those summer weddings…
If you want some cute vintage-inspired jewellery, look no further than Elsie Belle. I came across this little lovely at a craft fair last Christmas and meant to blog about it then, but never got around to it. From lockets to rings, I love the cute attention to detail, the delicate woodland-creature-adorned necklaces, a nod to the current obsession in interiors for animalia.
I have picked out a couple that caught my eye – and they are really well priced to boot! At the top is the Florence pendant – a 1950s Japanese pearlised porcelain cabochon mounted onto a raw brass floral locket. Fill with keepsakes or photos of your loved ones. £16.95
A great new find, courtesy of my ever watchful sister Siobhan, an avid crafter and seamstress extraordinaire. This little online boutique is jam-packed full of goodies, and all at a great price.
Enter: Re-Found Objects! This little site is ace, I love the paper stuff (see top image) and also these mexican paper designs.
Or what about these cute ‘Rusty Shapes’ from £2.50 each.
For textile fanciers, these lovely vintage Parisian ‘Memento’ cushions are just darling and for £35 each, a fair price for a slice of silky vintage history.
I could go on…oh ok, just one more…
I love these recycled metal picture frames – very salt-weathered and sea-sidey and a snip at £9. Fab! I urge you to favourite it (then you can buy lots of new and interesting stuff and wow your friends!)
